Is he worth getting back? What was the reason for the break up in the first place? Sometimes when people break up, once they move on, they don't want to go back and if he is persistently denying it then why force it, you shouldn't have to beg for someone to go out with you it should be a mutual thing. Sometimes too many things have happened for a second chance to reveal itself. Plus there is free will, you can't make someone fall in love or back in love with someone else. That being said it sounds like you should focus your energy on meeting that new someone who really wants to be with you.
If you two are not together anymore it is because the relationship was becoming unbearable for one of you. It would be best for you to move on and meet other men. If you 2 are meant to be together it will happen but don't wait on him. More you will try to get him back ...more you will push him away. Your best weapon is to play cool and have fun with other people.
I could see if there were some mutual feelings between the two of you, that you might want to try and get him back, but it sounds like he was pretty clear that he is not interested.





Don't p*ss him off...just back off, go on with your life, and if its meant to be then maybe someday it could happen, but if not, you're not just sitting around wasting time!
